Mancunian legend JIM NOIR brings his trademark blend of psychedelic pop electronica to 53 Degrees!
Multi-instrumentalist Jim's greatest success came with ‘My Patch’, a runaway single from debut album ‘Tower Of Love’ which made it onto all sorts of adverts in 2006. Far from selling out though, he’s been creating more playfully naïve Brian Wilson-inspired pop with an EP a month for his devoted fans through The Noir Club. These exclusive new and old tracks have then been tinkered with, polished up or sanded down to create his latest LP, Jimmy's Show, which was released through his own label.
''‘Jimmy’s Show’ is the culmination - a quirky best-of, A collectionof psychedelic pop entertaining the inner child with tongue-in-cheek lyrics and psychedelic funky pop. His music has both the humour and darkness of a true Northern soul.'' CLASH MUSIC
JIM track 'Spider Glider' also featured recently on Manchester compilation THIRTY ONE SONGS. A special collection of Manchester-made music, featuring rare and exclusive songs by established and emerging acts including Elbow, Everything Everything, Delphic, I Am Kloot, Mr Scruff, Lonelady, and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds - http://www.thirtyonesongs.com
All profits from the release will go to CALM (the Campaign Against Living Miserably). http://www.thecalmzone.net/
