Revisiting Joy Division's seminal 'Unknown Pleasures' back in May 2010 for a commemorative charity concert, and following it each year with a new album performed live, now including 'Closer', 'Still', 'Movement' and 'Power Corruption & Lies', Peter Hook & The Light have come to amass some 150 shows in total in the three years since first playing the LP.

Making the full album the hallmark of their live sets, these classics are performed in their entirety along with the singles, b-sides and rarities from their respective eras. The Light have drawn great reactions for their live concerts all across the world, drawing crowds of all ages from fans of Hooky's original groups to those touched by the hands of the still influential music.

Reintroducing Hooky's early repertoire to a host of new audiences across festivals and dates in the past three years, The Light have taken headline slots at Vintage, Benicassim, 1234, and other world festivals. The band have also toured Europe, America, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and Japan to great success. In January 2013, Peter Hook & The Light made their debut performances of New Order's first two albums, 'Movement' and 'Power, Corruption & Lies', with three sold out concerts in Cardiff, London and Manchester receiving a rapturous response from national and music press alike.

In 2013, Peter Hook & The Light have already toured Eastern Europe and Russia, and with festival and live dates for both Joy Division and New Order album shows over the summer, are looking forward to fully touring 'Movement' and 'Power, Corruption & Lies' later in the year.

The Light's line up consists of Peter Hook (lead vocals, bass), his son Jack Bates (bass), Nat Wason (guitar), and long time Hooky cohorts Andy Poole (keys) and Paul 'Leadfoot' Kehoe (drums).

"Stirring, emotive and exceptionally impressive....Hooky and the band reinvigorate the old material with real passion." Word Magazine, December 2011

"There was never any doubt that this gig was to be something quite extraordinary. This was an event, a happening, a moment in history." Manchester Evening News, Jan 2013

"Hooky is the Rock God of bass players. His performance at North London's Koko had far more energy than last summer's Hyde Park show by the rest of New Order. He closed with a triumphant Temptation then the inevitable encore of Blue Monday." The Sun, Jan 2013

"While pages and pages of text has been written about how influential Peter Hook's bass sound is, and how much it defined Joy Division and New Order, he's also a very compelling front man. Now, 30 years later, the songs really come to life with a punchier musical delivery than they ever had on record, and an uber-confident Hook belting them out." Artrocker, Jan 2013
