Former The Streets frontman Mike Skinner and ex-The Music singer Rob Harvey have confirmed details of their debut album for their new project The D.O.T.
The 11 track LP entitled 'And That' will be released on October 22. The album features collaborations with Claire Maguire ('You Never Asked') and Danny Brown on opener 'And A Hero'.
Mike Skinner was, of course, the man behind The Streets who changed the face of modern british music at the beginning of the noughties. Rob Harvey was previously of The Music - who built up a huge and loyal following in their ten years of making music.
Harvey recently told NME that the pair had over 60 songs for the project which they have since whittled down. "We'd both in bands for 10 years and obviously Mike was really successful with what he did and I had a little bit of success with The Music boys but we were just bored of doing the same thing," he said "So we just wanted to do something different [after our bands had split]."
The pair have already posted up a series of tracks on their official website The-dot.net, with Harvey taking up the lead vocals on the majority of the songs.
