Wolf Alice are the four-piece alternative rock band from North London who are causing a storm in the music world. Consisting of Ellie Rowsell, Joel Amey, Joff Oddie and Theo Ellis, they initially rose to fame supporting indie rockers Peace, winning over Radio 1's Huw Stephens, securing a BBC session and a deal with Chess Club Records to release debut single 'Fluffy'. 'Bros' and the 'Blush' EP have followed to huge critical acclaim.
While the group's early material was folk-tinged pop, they've become more rock-oriented over time, with Clash Music describing the band as "the lovechild of folk and grunge". Press have compared them to everyone from The XX and Elastica to Hole; a female / male combo with stomp and energy.
In what's set to be an all-star indie bill, support comes from Birmingham four-piece Superfood and Radio 1 backed Gengahr, who were talent spotted by the same people who discovered Alt-J. Be sure to check out these NME cover stars in the making.
