Lancashire's finest young musicians to appear at 53 Degrees in Preston.

On Sunday 15th July the Lancashire Youth Concert Band and Lancashire School's Concert Band will be holding their Gala Concert. This concert takes place at the end of the school year and is an opportunity for the students to present a selection of the finest pieces that they have been working on throughout the year.

Band members are drawn from schools in all areas of Lancashire and they are all characterised by two exceptional qualities - great musical talent and an enthusiasm for the necessary hard work - which enable them to put on an outstanding concert of professional quality.

For this concert the two bands will be performing a wide variety of music rangingfrom well-known film and musical theatre pieces to classic concert band repertoire. Expect to be blown away by the tremendous sound and brilliant musicianship of a full-sized concert band.
