Ian Broudie and James Walsh
This very special show at 53 Degrees features a great double header of acoustic performances from two huge names.
Ex-Lightning Seeds main man Ian Broudie and Chorley success story James Walsh from Starsailor will each perform intimate acoustic sets for the 53 Degrees audience this December.
Most famous for his work in The Lightning Seeds in the early 90s Broudie is actually better known in the industry as a producer, working with the likes of Echo & The Bunnymen, The Coral, The Subways, The Zutons and many more. And of course he will always be remembered for his collaboration with Frank Skinner & David Baddiel on World Cup anthem Three Lions. Broudie released his critically acclaimed first solo album ‘Tales Told’ in 2004.
James Walsh is the man who provides Starsailor with the distinctive vocal sound that has helped propel them to 4 charting albums and 10 top forty singles over the last 8 years. Growing up just down the road in Chorley and attending Holy Cross High School this will be a virtually home town gig for James which is bound to bring something a little special to what is already a unique intimate show.
A real chance to get up close and personal with two men responsible for penning some of the best guitar pop anthems of the last decade.
