Hadouken Explosive West Yorkshire grindie band Hadouken! are coming back to 53 Degrees this September.

Hadouken!, who comprise of James Smith (vocals), Daniel "Pilau" Rice (guitar/vocals), Nick Rice (drums/samples), Chris Purcell (bass) and Alice Spooner (synthesizer), played 53 Degrees in 1997 as ‘That Boy That Girl’ was pushing Indie Cindys onto hectic dancefloors up and down the country. This time they’re returning from a studio in Holland where they’ve been working with the Drum & Bass outfit Noisia who are producing their as yet untitled second album.

They revealed on their Twitter account that this album will be different than their first both lyrically and musically. "The(re) are no computer game or pixelly sounds in the entire album," " There are no social-observation type lyrics on the entire album," "This album will scare your Grandma, has songs about nuclear war and sound great in a club or on a Nokia." The band have also made a direct jab at their critics by saying "If you thought we were gonna stay the same then you didn't know us well enough." The album is due to be released in Autumn.

Hadouken! play 53 Degrees, Preston’s 400 capacity club venue on Saturday 26th September as part of a full UK tour, advice is to get your tickets early to avoid missing out, as this is sure to be a big hit with student crowd who arrive in Preston for the new term just a week before.
