Experimental and genre-hopping band Hadouken! have been confirmed to return to 53 Degrees this October.
Just last month Hadouken! announced they were underway with the recording of their third full studio album, only sixteen weeks after their second ‘For The Masses’ hit number 17 in the UK charts. Now, as if to further prove there is no standing still in the Hadouken! camp, they’ve revealed plans for a full tour this October, including a date at 53 Degrees on Tuesday 19th.
Variously described as nu-rave or indie, Hadouken! fuse techno sounds with rock guitars and rapidly spat lyrics to create their own ultra-distinctive style. Originally winning the ears of the fussiest dance-floor generation in decades with breakthrough singles ‘That Boy, That Girl’ and ‘Liquid Lives’ the Leeds based band have since gone on to claim top twenty spots twice with successive albums and are now working hard on making it a hat-trick.
Fans can expect to hear previews of Hadouken’s new tracks at any of their string of summer festival dates or in their own towns when the band embark on this Autumn’s tour. Little information is available yet about the direction they will be taking, and if the contrasts of the first two albums are anything to go by, it really could be a case of anything goes.
