Kasabian will be playing in Preston for their only North West date in a mini warm up tour for their Concert For Teenage Cancer Trust at The Royal Albert Hall in London.
Kasabian will be performing at 53 Degrees, Preston on Tuesday 24th March. 53 Degrees are very proud they have chosen them as their only North West date and with a capacity of 1500, it will be a very intimate show for the band. Despite just being announced as special guests of Oasis on their forthcoming arena tour, playing smaller venues is something they will relish, Kasabian keyboardist/guitarist and primary songwriter Sergio Pizzorno talks of taking out their third album, “I’m really buzzing for playing the album in a small club venue,” he declared. “I want to start small, because I’ve missed those types of shows. It will really go off!”
The massive electronica-indie rock band will be returning to Preston after a stellar performance in Moor Park at Radio 1’s One Big Weekend back in 2007, the band played to an estimated 35,000 people attending making the event the biggest free music festival in Europe.
Tickets are expected to sell out within days. Tickets are 16+ and open to the general public. On sale at 9am on Saturday 28th February from http://www.lancashiretickets.com
