PENDULUM SWING INTO PRESTON

Share |

Pendulum Genre crossing giants Pendulum will be appearing LIVE at 53 Degrees, Preston on Friday 29th May as part of a UK tour.

Pendulum began as a drum & bass act in their native Australia in 2002, their sound has developed more of a rocky edge over the recent years but still keeping the dance feel.  Their latest album In Silico made Pendulum the most successful drum & bass act of all time.  The Pendulum sound is typically heavy beats accompanied by low basslines, overlaid with synthesized leads and rock riffs.  Their music attracts a wide range of fans from many genres from hardcore drum & bass to dance, rock, metal and indie.

Their live performances are reputably astounding.  Technically and visually exciting and always making the audience feel thrilled and exhilirated.  Rob Swire (Pendulum writer / producer / vocalist) tries to explain just why Pendulum fans go crazy:

‘‘It's the energy levels on stage and the music itself. Especially with the live show, it's very non-stop.''

Tickets go on sale 9am Friday 20th March.

With more and more exciting shows being booked, including the now SOLD OUT Kasabian on the 24th March and Friendly Fires on 22nd May, 2009 is looking like an incredible year for the Preston venue.
